I discovered Le Sain Bol Restaurant by Chance on Sunday, heading for Brunch on Laurier. The original restaurant we intended to dine at was completely booked for brunch, so we walked up the street searching for a nice alternative to fill up our hungry stomachs. This charming little green place around the corner caught my eye and so we decided to walk in and take a closer look.
I’m convinced that some of the best things in life are found by chance and when we least expect it, and it was very much the case that day when I discovered Le Sain Bol. Can you imagine my internal excitement when I discovered it was not only organic but all local food! I was in heaven, it was a destined turn for the good!
Le Sain bol has to be one of the most charming, cozy and intriguing breakfast /brunch places in Montreal I’ve ever encountered. The owner Chef is Frederik Houtin, a creative genius who has brought such incredible tastes and values all under one cozy roof.
The food was so fresh, clean, uniquely prepared and all local. I ordered the surprise menu consisting of 4 different delicious treats and a warm mug of Hot Chai Latte made with almond milk, with a grand finale of the best French toast I’ve ever tasted. An intoxicating brunch, that truly made my day!
The Sain Bol is definitely a gem in Montreal that you must experience if you appreciate organic quality food and warm ambiances. I’m looking forward to going back and trying the Dinner menu at Le Sain Pol with friends.
