Les Bontes De la Vallee is an Organic Fruits and Vegetable Market in the heart of the Plateau. Open in the summer from June 8 up until Nov 10. If you haven’t yet visited this wonderful local market, you still have a few more weeks left before they close for winter season! I encourage you to take advantage of the next few weeks and head out to do your fruits & vegetable shopping outdoors in the fresh crisp cool Autumn air, since winter season is soon approaching and these experiences will be more scarce for some time.
Even though I live in the West Island, I very much enjoy taking little fun outings during the weekends in to the city to pick up some fresh and colorful organic produce. ( I have to admit they are far more tasty than those found in grocery stores) When it comes to supporting local artisans and agriculture, my heart is there. There’s no better feeling than going home and making a meal with food that you know has been handled and cultivated with love.
