What is Apple Cider Vinegar Made of?

Apple Cider Vinegar  is made through the process of fermentation and is high in phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and calcium.  Apple cider vinegar is a vinegar made by fermenting apples in water. This us usually done over a 7-8 month period. Sugar is necessary to “feed” the bacteria, but most (if not all) of the sugar is fermented out.

It may be naturally fermented, or bacteria and yeast may be added to start the fermentation process.

You might be accustomed to seeing Apple Cider Vinegar liquids and salad dressings in your grocery isles. Important to Note: Not every Apple Cider Vinegar you will encounter has the mother bacteria inside.

If your looking to use Apple Cider Vinegar as Natural Medicine, for healing, there is a very big difference from standard Apple Cider Vinegar, and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar ( with Mother: bacteria that is formed during the fermentation process )

If you are using Apple Cider Vinegar for Health Benefits, weather it be on your body or taking it internally, it is essential for best results, and full health benefits to purchase organic apple cider vinegar, and it must read on the bottle “ With mother. I only use the Organic with Mother its so much more powerful even in cleaning bacteria on the house, and adding extra health goodness to your dressings. So my recommendation is only buy Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother you can also learn to make your own apple Cider vinegar at home!

Making your own Apple Cider Vinegar

( recipe link at the end of post) It’s pretty easy to make, very economical, and you might find it really fun and practical to have your own Apple cider vinegar stock in your your pantry.

There’s nothing like freshly picked juicy Organic Apples. For eating, baking and making your Apple Cider Vinegar.  Tip : You can save apple peels and cores to make your Homemade apple Cider Vinegar.

You can essentially make Apple Cider Vinegar with good results at any time of the year, but if your able to gather a few bags of freshly picked local Organic Apples and store them, your household will really appreciate this!

When I set out to do my first batch of Apple Cider Vinegar, I was a little intimidated by the whole process and also skeptical what results I would have after the 7 – 8 week fermentation period.

I was pleasantly surprised by the final result, and since I had such a large batch , I shared with many friends, family, neighbors, it turned out to be such a great successful hit that i ended up turning in to an natural product I offered in the Back to Eden online shop.

8. Ease Acid Reflux: This may seem counterintuitive, but hear me out. Most of the time acid reflux is due to having too little stomach acid rather than having too much. The reason that this causes acid reflux is this: If you do not have enough stomach acid, the receptor cells in your stomach will not send a message to your brain that its time to close the sphincter at the top of your stomach. This means as you are digesting your food some of it may wash back up your throat causing the pain of acid reflux. In these situations you can take a shot of apple cider vinegar when you are experiencing the pain to help increase the acid content in your stomach which will then activate the message to close the sphincter. You can also take a shot of apple cider vinegar before you eat as a preventative measure.
